Structure

How the CMS is organized.

The pages in the CMS consist of three main parts:

  • the main menu on the left;
  • the content in the center;
  • the settings on the right.

Within the CMS, a clear distinction is made between overview pages and detail pages. Once you have seen these two types of pages, you will notice that the rest of the CMS works in the same way.

Overview pages

On overview pages, you will usually see a list of items that have already been created. An example of this can be found when you go to Posts in the main menu on the left. To the right of the menu, you will now see all existing items. These are divided into two groups:

  • Channels, such as articles, questions, and more;
  • Structures, such as pages.

You can also use filters to view only a specific type of item.

Detail pages

If you click on an item on an overview page, you will go to the detail page. In the center of this page, you will see the Block Editor. This is the place where you can edit the content of your page or post. On the right-hand side are the settings related to the selected item. Which settings you see depends on the type of channel or structure.
