Menus

To build the structure of your website.

In the “Menu” module (under Settings), you can set up the menu structure of your website. You can do this via the page itself (by indicating in the settings on the right-hand side which menu the page belongs to), or directly through the “Menu” module, where you can create and edit the menu.

Types of menus

Your website usually consists of at least three menus to which you can add items: a navbar, a footer, and a copyright menu.

  • The navbar is located at the top of the pages and forms the main navigation of the website.
  • The footer is located at the bottom of the page and often contains links to important information.
  • The copyright menu is usually placed below the footer and is used for texts such as disclaimers, copyright notices, and terms and conditions.

Add a menu item

Once you have selected a menu, you can add new items to it here. In the “Search” field, type the name of the page you want to link. You can also manually add a link via the “Custom link” button.

Make a menu item a sub-item

If you have added at least two menu items, you can set one item as a main item and the other as a sub-item. You can do this simply by dragging the desired sub-item slightly to the right, so that it snaps in underneath the main item.

Custom menus

(*) We only build custom websites tailored to your wishes and needs. This means that certain menus may not be available in your CMS or may not be described in this guide. Please feel free to contact us for more information about these specific cases.
